A. English is the medium of instruction in KAIST. Few specific courses are given in Korean but international students can substitute for others taught in English. Therefore, we do not consider applicant’s Korean skill in admission. However, after you get admitted to KAIST, you need to obtain TOPIK(Test of Proficiency in Korean) 2 Level for the graduation. Undergraduate foreign students are required to obtain level 2 or higher score in TOPIK before entering or during studying at KAIST.
