A. Students will be enrolled without declaring a major.

In KAIST, students can select and work on their major from 2nd year. We will provide academic fairs, lectures, seminars, and other programs to help students determine which major will suit them best; they then are free to choose from KAIST’s majors, without any additional requirements or admission procedures.

However, you need to select one intended major. It doesn’t affect when you choose your actual major after you get admitted to KAIST. We just want to know the major preference of the applicants.
