Cost of Studying at KAIST

  • KAIST understands that funding education is a significant factor affecting your decision to study abroad.
    Our goal is to make your daily research activities contribute to your education at KAIST.
    While you are enrolled in the KAIST’s research ecosystem, you’ll learn, create, and fund your education by researching.

    Students will need enough budget to support a single-person household (see the table below).

  • However, students admitted with KAIST Scholarship will be financially independent of their homes.
    KAIST scholarship is a simple but strong funding scheme from which 94 percent of our international students benefit.
    The grants will cover the full tuition fee and guarantee minimum living expenses.
    With additional income from participating in research projects, most of our international students have achieved financial independence from their parents.(Learn more ).
