Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) is designed to provide
international students with opportunities to study at higher education
institutions in Korea, both undergraduate and graduate level. The scholarship
aims to enhance international education exchange and strengthen mutual
friendship between Korea and participating countries.
Eligibility: International students
are eligible for KAIST’s graduate programs and the GKS program implemented
by NIIED.
Subsidies:
Full tuition fee, monthly allowance, one economy round-trip airfare

Procedures: Submit your application
to KAIST for the university track or to the Korean embassy in your country
for the embassy track.
Remarks:
If
you do not have TOPIK Level 5 or higher, you must take a mandatory
one-year Korean language course. This does not apply to those who are
accepted for the Global Network program.
